ITINERARY:
DAY 1 (D)
VIENTIANE | ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at Vientiane, the city of the moon – an ancient city, situated on the bend on the left bank of the Mekong as the largest city and the capital of Laos - meet by our representative and transfer to hotel for check-in. After a short rest, we set our orientation visit by walking tour to Lao Capital, strolling around the city and observing the sunset by the Mekong Riverside and by the evening, seeing the city lifestyle of local Lao people. Overnight at Hotel in Vientiane.
DAY 2 (B / L / D)
VIENTIANE | LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, Visit religious museums of Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple to have survived from the Siamese war 1828 where it's cloister contains more than 8000 Buddha statues; Wat Ho Prakeo the former home-temple of the Emerald Buddha statue or Pra Keo, but today it contains a collection of Buddha statues, antiques and all artifacts; That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos, which was built to cover the original small stupa, containing a piece of the chest bone of Buddha; Patouxay (Arch de Triumph), built quite recently in commemoration of those who died during the wars in the past and it is today the landmark of Vientiane. Then, we visit the Central Market of Talad Sao. After Lunch, we continue our visit by boarding the Domestic Flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at Luang Prabang Airport, the ancient first capital of Lane Xang kingdom, the center of religious life in Laos and today is a World Heritage City. Meet and greet session with our Guide and transfer to our Hotel. Then, visiting the National Museum before we strolling the Street Night Bazaar and climb up to the top pf Phousi Mount with 328 steps leading to the summit for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as viewing a beautiful panorama sunset over this once Royal Ancient City and the Mekong River. Overnight at Hotel in Luang Prabang.
DAY 3 ( B / L / D)
LUANG PRABANG | PAK OU CAVE | BAN PHANOM
After breakfast, we continue to enjoy a guided tour seeing the city's oldest Temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong. Then, we boat a boat embarking upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives you a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Cave. On the way back, we visit local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan and then continue to visit the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, which , once belongs to the royal family patronage and near the Sackarine Cave. We cross to city and take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving textile. Overnight at Hotel in Luang Prabang.
DAY 04 (B)
LUANG PRABANG | DEPARTURE (departure thru Vientiane and Hotel extension in Vientiane is available upon request)
Early morning, you may wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. This is the highlight of tour prior goodbye to this Heritage City. Then, we visit the silversmith and fine art school. Free at leisure until transfer to the Airport for Departure.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Wat Sisaket: is one of the most important Temples in Laos and known as the only Temple that survived the Siamese occupation that destroyed Vientiane in 182. It was restored in 1924 and subsequently in 1930. The architecture of the Temple has some Siamese influence but is mostly based on Laos design. At all, the Temple contains more than 5000 Buddha statues in various sizes and postures,
- Wat Hor Prakeo: was used as the Royal Chapel of the Lao Monarchy, but more importantly, it was built to house Emerald Buddha,
- That Luang Stupa: is a gold covered large Buddha Stupa in the center of Vientiane, Laos. Since its initial establishment, suggested to be in the 3rd century, the stupa has undergone several reconstructions and the most recent in 1930s due to foreign invasions of the area. It is generally regarded as the most important National Monument in Laos and a National important,
- Patuxay: is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph, a war monument dedicated to those who fought for the independence from France, located at the end of Lang Xang Avenue, in the heart of Vientiane,
- Wat Visun: the 16th century temple served as a small museum for religious artifacts
- Wat Aham: the early 19th century Temple, whose two guardian figures at the foot of the steps which represent two characters from the Ramayana-Hanuman, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa
- Wat Xiengthong: the 16th century Temple, more than any Temple in Luang Prabang, epitomizes all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture
- Night Bazaar Street: where you can find the lovely collection and hand made textile by local and hill tribe people living around Luang Prabang
- Pak Ou Cave: in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite of the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consist of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images, which range from mere centimeters to two meters in height.
- National Museum: the former Royal palace which houses the collection of valuables including the famous Prabang Buddha statue, gifts received from foreign dignitaries
- Kuang Si Waterfall: is the biggest in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-meters drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream
- Ban Phanom: is a village steeped in traditional textile making with all families in the village working their looms to provide goods for sale at the night markets.
