ITINERARY:
DAY 1 ( - / - / -)
KUL / XI'AN
Up arrival Xi’An, pick up and met with tour guide. Check in hotel.
DAY 2 (B / L / D)
XI'AN EAST LINE TOUR
After breakfast at Hotel, head to Lintong ( 1 hour) to visit "the Eight World Wonder" - the Museum of Terra-Cotta warriors and Soldiers for about 2.5 hours. Extra RMB5/pax for electric car in the museum. In the Museum, you will see an impressive army built two thousands years ago, which is one of the greatest man-made archaeological sites, attracting thousands of tourist all over the world, then, visit the most ancient Imperial Garden - the Huaqing Palace for about 2.5 hours, which is famous for the love story between Xuanzong Emperor and his favourite concubine Lady Yang and lastly visit Five Hall - where Xi'an incident took place. After Dinner, back to Hotel for check in. Optional Tour: Night program : Song of Everlasting Sorrow (Time: April - October: 2030 hours; 60 minutes - RMB288/pax. A romantic poem by a famous Tang poet, depicting the love between Xuanzong Emperor and Lady Yang, shown on stage with a real mountain and real water as a background.
DAY 3 (B / L / D)
XI'AN CITY TOUR
After breakfast, visit Tang Dynasty Buddhism construction of Dayan pagoda and North Square. (Note: not climb up the Pagoda). Dayan Pagoda was well known in Tang Dynasty. It was where celebrations for scholars who passed national examination took place during Zhongzong Emperor's era. Then, we visit the Park with the theme of Imperial park ( Tang Paradise). Tang Paradise could be called Garden of History, Spirit, Nature, Culture and Art, reflecting great Tang Dynasty's brilliant culture and its prosperity, then, watch Music Fountain show, second largest in Asia. Then, we head to Qujiang Pool Park, a combination of cultural heritage, natural garden, entertainment, tourism and folk art. Optional Tour: night program: Dream back to Tang Dynasty show, RMB150/pax, delivering a great picture of Tang Dynasty society's prosperity.
DAY 4 (B / L / D)
XI'AN CITY TOUR
After breakfast, visit the best preserved and most complete military defense system (Xi'an City Wall) for about 1 hour. Then, visit the symbolic constructions of Xi'an, Bell Tower and Drum Tower (Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square). Then, head to National Museum (Shanxi History Museum), exhibiting cultural relics excavated from Sha'anzi, one of the origins of Chinese Civilization. At the afternoon, visit Huajue Lane, known as Diplomatic Street, Manhattan in Tang Dynasty. Meet and greet with Huajue Lane community. After Lunch, visit Gao's Folk House, from where you can see traditional Shanzi Shadow Play and Puppet Show. Easy and free shopping at Waijiao Street.
DAY 5 (B)
XI'AN DEPARTURE / KUL
After breakfast, enjoy a nice walk through Muslim Snack Street, originated in early Tang Dynasty, then, visit one of thee four great Mosques, Xi'an Huajue Lane Mosque, for service and meeting local people. After dinner, transfer to airport for departure Home.
