Itinerary:
DAY 01
CAIRO ARRIVAL
Arrival to the Land of the Pharaohs. At Cairo International Airport you will be welcomed and assisted through immigration and customs, then escorted to your selected hotel.
DAY 2
GIZA | SAKKARA | MEMPHIS
After breakfast, at morning, visit of the great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. From here we drive to Sakkara the vast Necropolis of Ancient Memphis. Sakkara has 14 Pyramids and built by Zoser l in 2700 BC. It is the first Pyramid and is the world's oldest stone structure. In the afternoon, we drive to Memphis, the Capital of the ancient kingdom and one of the most important cities throughout the History of ancient Egypt.
DAY 3
CAIRO TOURS
In the early morning and after breakfast, we drive to the Egyptian Museum, famous for its antiquities dating back some 50 centuries from Egypt's Pharaonic Period, including the fabulous Treasure of King Tut. Afternoon we take a tour to old Cairo visit the old Coptic suspended Church and the oldest synagogue of Ben Ezra, later we drive to the citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammad Ali.
DAY 4
ALEXANDRIA
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide for the day will pick up you up and escort you, across 220 kilometres of the Western Desert from Cairo is the City of Alexandria, the bride of the Mediterranean Sea. The trip takes about 3 hours. Upon arrival your tour leader will take you to visit the Montazah Summer Palace, walk around and enjoy the Montazah Gardens. originally built in 1892, it was the summer home of the Egyptian Royal Family. Lunch is taken en-route at a popular seafood district 9 (at your own expense ). Then check in to your Hotel in Alexandria. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 5
QAITBAY | KOMEL - SHOKAFA
After breakfast breakfast, you will visit the Fort and Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built around 1480 by the Mamluk Sultan, Qaitbay. It is believed to rest on the site and built from the stones of the Pharoahs Lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then visit to Pompeii Pillar and the Roman Theater of Alexandria. We will have our Lunch and the day end with a visit to the Catacomb of Komel - Shokafa. These tombs were tunneled into the bedrock in the age of the Antonine Emperors (2nd century A.D) for a single wealthy family still practicing the ancient religion. These tombs represent the last existing major construction for the sake of the old Egyptian religion. At the end of the day return to Cairo and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 6
CAIRO DEPARTURE
Transfer to Cairo Airport for fly back home.
